700R4 -> T5 swap almost complete!!! Just a few questions....

After a long day of working on the swap I came upon a few minor questions.

First, I am not sure how the switch on the clutch pedal is supposed to work. I connected the 2 purple and yellow wires butthe car would not start. I then jumpered the two wires together and the car started. I noticed there is another place for a connection on the switch but do not know if anything is supposed to be there.

Secondly, When I got the T5 in the car, there was a connection left over. It is a four prong connection that went in the auto trans. Do I need it for naything now that the T5 is in?

Third, I noticed there is a vibration in the car now particularly when the car is over 2k rpm. Is this normal? Any ideas of what it could be and how to fix it?
I had the flywheel resurfaced before the swap so I dont think it could be that. I was very careful to torque all the bolts on the flywheel and pressureplate so that should be ok....Any ideas?

There is some play in the tans mount and the crossmember and ive heard of vibratiopns occuring because the trans was a little off and the driveshaft was not completely straight causiong a vibration. Just something to check.

On you clutch switch, either the switch is bad or the pedal isn't pushing it in enough. Reach under there and push the switch in with your finger and see if it starts.

The 4-wire connector was for the torque converter clutch. Just let it hang.

As for the vibration, maybe a bad mount or you left something loose.....
