Are you trying to go faster?

If so, drop the 10's and the box . Jus kidding. How about a bottle? Best bang for that kinda cash. A good ignition box would be nice too...

I would say ignition. MSD coil, some wires. Have some change left over for next project.

I have MSD box, and to tell you the truth, its a waste unless running high compression or boost. The coil on the other hand helps alot with throttle response.

I would go with an AFPR and a performance Coil.

Agreed; I saw more from putting a high-voltage coil on than when I added the MSD 6AL box on. But I had done everything else to my ignition; putting an MSD box on was the last thing to do. (Next step will be the Holley ignition module...)

What size shoes are you running? You could go to a slightly shorter rear tire, and that'd increase your effective gear ratio slightly. The lower gear/posi idea is a great one... I miss my 3.73/posi/disc rear... (sigh)

TomP. ive just got stock tire size. IIRC, 235/60/r15. my tires are only have a few thousand on them though.

so what are the best plug wires to run? i was thinking 8 or 8.8 wires, but what brand? how bout cap and rotor brand? i just got a new ignition module about 2 months ago, factory one. if i get a new coil, is it good to relocate it somewhere else?

He made the most common mistake that kills them. He got a flat and stuck he spare donut on it. Posi must have the same size tires on at all time.

I never found out but that $450 powertrac they installed on HP TV this weekend was neat. No special tools needed, not a spool replacement but a spider gear replacement. Real easy few hr swap. Makes the car Posi while going straight but still acts like a peg leg when you turn.

They put it in a wagon so it can take some abuse.
