Power steering hose?
Okay my high pressure power steering hose *Aren't they both high pressure?* is leaking madly...I can get a new one from Kragens for 20$, so how hard is it to repalce this? I have had a few shops quoting 100-150$ for replacement of the hose. Is it that big a pain, or they just making big bucks of this?
Thanks!
Thanks!

loosen old hose, catch drain off, replace w/new hose, use some teflon for cheap stop leak insurance, tighten to spec, fill resovoir, start & check for leaks.
The drain back hose isn't as high pressure as the primary one. You cain get that hose in bulk from behind the counter.

Yeah, they just smelled money and figured they'd rape you a good one.
If the tube nuts start to strip, use a large adjustable wrench with thick jaws on the nuts. And wear gloves- when those tube nuts start to turn, you can wind up kissing the radiator with your hand. (Got a "new" scar from that one )

You're welcome. I haven't had to change out mine yet, but that's what I did when I did the engine swap.
