ARP makes rocker studs for our engines that allow us to use SBC (chevy 350, 305, etc) Rockers on our heads.

the ARP part number is ARP-100-7201, and they are cheap too ($40)

Plus they are a new parts, so it looks like at least someone is still suporting our engines in the performance market.

that's really cool...i might have to put some on my motor. will they fit under our valve covers though? i don't have stock valve covers and they clear with 1.6:1 roller tip rockers now, they are chrome and made by edelbrock.

haven't looked at them yet. Arre they offset studs? cause they rockers would have to be the narrow body design.

Either Crane or Comp makes the full roller designs for our cars, & they come w/studs for them.

yeah, crane cams makes a setup for our cars, but they want like $350 just for thier "gold race rockers" and the correct studs.

with the ARP studs you can buy them for $40, and then goto summit and get thier $150 full roller rockers, thats alot less than what crane wants.

Most SBC rockers are already narrow body design, Big Blocks are normally the ones with wide body rockers for more strength.

I think what Project: 85 is getting at is that the SBC rocker needs to be narrowed in order to fit on the 60*V6 head. There are some "narrow body" SBC rockers, but it's more the trunion that is the problem, I have the specs in my GMP build book.

Good find though, just out of curiosity, do they come with the nuts? or is this JUST studs?

http://www.cranecams.com/master/goldrace.htm

the 2.8~3.4 p/n are 25750-12 & 25759-12

the sbc are: 10750-16 & 10759-16

I belive thatthe 25 & 10 prefix id teh engine, the 750 & 759 id the rocker ratio & the -12 & -16 id quantity of rockers.

These are also specified as narrow bodied rockers, not the regular ones. So if you get narow bodied rockers, & teh ARP studs & nuts, GOLD!!!!!!!!! at 1/2 the price

I thought 614's rockers looked obnoxiously large.. but I had no idea... oh the possibilities
