problem starting in the morgning, Please Help!!!!!!!!!

problem starting in the morgning, Please Help!!!!!!!!!

Hi, today when I try to start my car in the morgning and I had to crank it 5 or 6 times after that the car start a lil crapy for 10 seconds and when is warm it's OK..
This is the first time that my car do this it was runing perfect till today.
I have good fuel pressure, the pump make noice in the tank (prime) when I put it on the relay make click when on.
Please I need your help!!!

Cold start valve maybe? The cold start valve gives you a little extra fuel when the engine's cold.

thats what i was thinking.

Also it could be a weak ignition coil.

How do you know you have good fuel pressure?

cold start

the ignition is all new , msd 6a and coil, and my friend check the fuel pressure on the rear of the intake .
He also think is the cold start valve, but I want to be sure with another oppinion,
where in the car is located the cold start valve???it is near to the niple for the fuel pressure gauge ??? and how it looks like??

i have the same problem.....winter time is a major PITA...also in the middle of the nite going on a fire/ambulance call is also a pain....it seems as if it sits for 8hrs or longer is when i also have the same problem....ive always had that problem,kinda getting used to it....sounds crazy but even though the car isnt carb. i like pump the gas pedal a few times & it seems to help

Can you point out the cold start valve??? Its not mentioned in the book.

I just hold my rpms at 1500-2000 for a few mins at start up and then go.

Ok, I did find it in the book. Gues I looked real hard huh. But still Don't see where it goes. I had my plenium off once and must have missed it???

Cold start valve goes in back of the manifold, by the distributor. There will be a fuel line going to it off the fuel rail on the drivers side. Not all years had it. It may have stopped in 87/88

anywho, I got my scanner hooked up and here are some good facts about the cold start injector, and please, control the drool
