Racing Slicks (Gotta see this)

A few of you may have seen a photo or two of the bald tires I was running on my car a few weeks ago. Well, I got them off and some brand spankin new Sigma Supreme TR's back on... So, now that I have those tires off and laying in my garage, I figured I'd take a few photos for you guys to enjoy laughing at. The one in the back is my balding tire, and the one foreground is my so-called 'racing slick'. Please keep in mind everyone, it is NOT safe to drive on tires like this! I AM an idiot, I know! So spare your comments and enjoy a good laugh.

when I worked in automotive still, I saw worse, MUCH WORSE. Try steel belts hanging out all over. (not on my car however!)

Those look pretty bad. My brother was driving around with nearly the same thing a few years ago, but I never let my tires get that low. Sometimes I think I could save some money if I did, though

When I had my 79 camaro I treated my tires like that. powerbraking at intersection till no one including cross traffic can see and general tire abuse but they never blew.

Though the best one was my 68 galaxie, it would shread tires. Manytimes I went around a cornor hot and lost all my tread. and one time I drove all the way home on the wrong side of the road in the grass, cause my left rear tire was gone.

scooped about 50 lbs of dirt into my trunk too, through the rust in the quater pannels.

it was just a 302 2bb but it would take out 5.0 sticks with ease. only ford I would own is pre 70.

My brother had a '55 GMC pickup, and when we first got it up and running, the tires on it were horrible! Steel belts sticking out all over the place and everything. When he would spin out at night, you could see sparks flying out everywhere! It was hillarious!

Hey, those look exactly like my old tires! Did you steal them? lol. My last set lasted for about 6 months, too many Mustang's on the road, hehe

And everyone around here thinks I'm psycho for driving on those... Wish there weren't so many cops around here...I'd have spent some of that tire life doing something useful, like making stock imports cry, instead of making smoke shows outside my friend's house, or going full pedal on a launch when no one's around to prove to myself the car still has ***** when I start to forget....
