well, i want to put a 3.4 in from a 4th gen camaro. i was wondering if there was a company that made a centrifugal type supercharger kit for the 4th gen v6's. if some one did, then why couldn't you put it on the 3.4 swap in a 3rd gen. i know that there would need to be a lot of fab work but i think that it could possibly be worth looking into, you know?

It'd be the same work required to put ANY supercharger on ANY engine. Just because the charger was designed for a v6 doesn't mean that it'll bolt up easily to another v6!!

the 4th gen sc kits ive seen have been for the 3.8.. so ur basically it wont work on our 60* v6s.. he only thing stopping u from using ANY sc kit out there is the brackets (which would be completly self-fab) and finding a belt for the appropiate boost level.. u may want to check out www.camarov6.com last time i checked there (which was over a yr now) they were developing a sc for v6 (starting w/ 3.8 sfi then 3.4 sfi then 2.8/3.1 mpfi).. they may have made a bracket (or "kit") for the 60* v6 by now..

hell for 3 and a half grand?!?! ok.. yeah... makes me wanna buy a better bender, for 1/3 that, bend the tubes, get some used turbo's, rebuild them, and slap them on!. Hell you can buy JUST the C/F 'Charger, and take a 60* block to a metal fab shop, and have them MAKE brackets for alotless then that.....
