My t-56 is going in a couple of weeks. How long do you guy think my rear will survive with MT ET streets?

My current best times below were all with a 10 bolt. It wasn't stock but it was still a 7.5" 10 bolt.

Aftermarket 28 spline axles, welded axles tubes, LPW rear cover with bearing supports, solid crush sleeve.

I went to a 9" this winter because I also changed my tranny and put in a transbrake. The 7.5" wouldn't have been able to handle it.

The standard transmission could easily break the tiny ring and pinion just as easily as a transbrake. It's the shock of those high rpm clutch drop that will eventually destroy your diff.

assuming your still running the stock auburn unit your likely going to break the spider gears on the same day. the 7.5 is rather strong for it's size, but doesn't like manual transmission cars. it can be made to hold up fairly well, but you need a diff without spider gears like the torsen or detroit locker and a girdle type cover.
