first i've started with a hurst ****, that look'd much better than the stock crappy ****, but...
a friend on mine came with the handle from an helicopter Bell-212, he just gave it to me as souvenir and guess what, i've just installed it and...
IT LOOKS AWESOME, A KILLER SOB.
it took some cutting and drilling but it works. i'll try to take some pics.

mine was the same, i just took it to work and ask one of the metal techs, he just reamed to 5/8 and it was perfect.
also it had 3 allen screws to hold but they were too big, so i ended up tightening the handle with only one.
no diference.
