Moser axle part #
Hey all,
Looks like it is time to RnR the axles , bearings and seals in the (stock)rear end on sons 89 formula he did have a good vibration at 60mph and above we got that fixed with a new 3inch diver shaft made by a custom shop near us.
I searched threads and dont see a part number for the moser axle and wheel studs in your rebuilds. I did see this for bearing and seals from James C which is a good write up
I purchased my Timkens from AutoZone. Double-check the following:
Wheel Bearing Rear, part #5707
Wheel Seal Rear, part #8660S
James C
Thanks
Tim

moser doesnt make axles for 9 bolts.

Re: Moser axle part #
I thought that Moser would make axles for anything. Anyway, there is almost never a need to replace the axles in a 9 bolt because the bearings are pressed on and don't cause wear on the axle it's self. A bent axle would be the only reason that I know of to replace one.
