Torsen posi 02 rearend question
Okay guys i just picked up a 02 z28 rearend with a torsen posi, my question is when I spin one wheel the other doesn't turn at all. Not like a open diff that spins the opposite. One wheel just doesn't spin at all. Is that how they work? I just don't want to down grade from my 9bolt with an amazing posi. Lol

Yes that's pretty much how they work.
THere's nothing in one of those to "wear out", so as long as all the parts are there, it's going to work. It has no choice.

Re: Torsen posi 02 rearend question
I would keep the 9 bolt if there is nothing wrong with it. The TORque SENsing posi only works when torque is applied. I don't like it for the simple fact that it is unpredictable. If I just ease into the throttle only one tire spins. If I stab it, both spin.
