1996 Chevy 2500 5 speed in to a 1990 rs?
I did a search and didn't find much info.
There is a good deal on a 2wd 1996 chevy 2500 with a 5.7 and a 5 speed manual.
My question is.... Can i put this drive train into my 1990 camaro rs? Obviously i would have to shorten my driveshaft, but will it bolt in? Will i have to modify floorboards? Does anyone have any clue??

Forget it. Now, if it's an iron case, then it's an NV4500, which will easily sell for enough to cover a WC T5. If it's an aluminum case, then it's an NV3500. You might get $50 for it. The '96 350 is the Vortec, with the heads everyone wants.

Thanks for the info! I live on an island in Alaska and these people are moving in 1 week and need to sell the truck. They have it up for 1500, which im sure i could get for a grand. I think ill pass on it. I wouldve bit if the tranny would bolt in. I already have a 350 im building and i got a line on some sportsman 2 heads in town.
