Stock replacement for a 93-97 LT1 car will be fine, if TPI is still on it.

depends on what your going to do with it mod wise a stock 93 is fine if your gonna do up the motor for performance get a little beefier one now centerforce ram spec this way you would do it once and it would be broken in correctly if you added more hp later

Clutch kit for a 93-97 Z28 or TransAm
Yes Centerforce should be OK; I've used several and LOVED them; although honestly, over the years, I've used Ram, B-W, Hayes, McLeod, and several others, EVERY ONE of which worked great and totally satisfied the customer. Never used Spec but I'd expect they'd be just as good, as long as a reasonable choice was made. (like, don't give your grandma a "stage 3" or whatever they call it) INSTALLATION is more important than brand. Any of the top-shelf brands would be fine, AS LONG AS YOU PUT IT IN RIGHT.
Don't worry, you can "add some more hp" and as long as TPI is on it, still never even come close to a stock LT1 (unless of course about 150 HP of nitrous is involved) so I wouldn't get too concerned about that.

I'm going to guess you're using the LT t56 and not the LS t56, right? You didn't mention it in your original post.

Yes. Major difference. With the LT you use all stock style parts but you get the messed up reverse style clutch that's over priced even in factory form. But if you're never going to make a ton of power or swap an LSx into the car it'll be fine.
The LS gearbox is more money out of the box because you have to shorten the driveline an inch or so and pick up an adapter from (i think?) Mcloed but it uses a factory t5 bellhousing and clutch setup so it's CHEAP. Even hi-po clutches are cheaper than the factory LTx clutchset. If you plan on adding a lot of power, keeping the car for a long time, or want what some people say is a more reliable (because it's more conventional) of a clutch set style than go with an LSx t56 and adapter plate.
