I have a 91 Camaro with a 305 V8 and 5 speed transmission.
About 2 weeks ago I was experience some problems when shifting. It was really tight and did not want to go into gear easily. Only had that issue for one day. The next day it seemed better. Well today I am out and I go to shift and it will not go into any gear. I was luckily able to pull over into an empty parking lot. I turned the engine off and then restated it and tried shifting, nothing i could not get it into any gears. I then turned the engine off and tried shifting while off and it will go into the gears. I tried starting the car while I left it in first and heard a bunch of grinding and immediately shut it off. The clutch feels pretty stiff and does not fell right at all. I had to have the car towed home. I am not very mechanically inclined (I am always trying to learn though) my dad however is, but does not know much about these parts of the car. Any suggestions on where to start or what to try will be appreciated.
