banging from right wheel
so i went for my emissions test and parked my car outside the shop. when the mechanic started my car and drove it he accelerated kinda hard and braked hard (kinda how a teenager drives for the first time). he gets out my car and tells me he hears a banging from the right rear and cant pass my car. i told him what did my rear have anything to do with my emissions tested but he wasn't going to pass it. so i drove it and didn't hear any banging. at a stop i accelerated harder then what i would usually (these cars need very little gas to make them go) and hear two bangs on the right of the rear. i would think i need to replace a bushing but dont know which. sorry for the long rant but any help would be appreciated

Re: banging from right wheel
Could be as simple as a sway bar end link. Could be a motor mount or tranny mount. I'm surprised the shop guy didnt put it on the lift to see - he lost a potential sale there. If he's stupid enough to not take 5 minutes to look and maybe be able to sell you a part and service, I'd not return to his dumba$$ - he obviously has enough money cause I would have surely tried to make a sale out of you!
