TH350 question

For sometime now my turbo 350 has been puking up tranny fluid through the dipstick tube. After some research, its of general consensus that the cause is the vent tube being blocked. I crawled underneath the vehicle to inspect my breather tube; only to discover none. Someone has replaced it with a bolt. Is there a reason this would be done?

Re: TH350 question

I have good reason to believe you're are correct. That was my first conclusion.

Re: TH350 question

OK. Just maybe someone wanted to drive through deep water and didn't want to get water in the trans and didn't think of running a breather tube higher up. But either way I think the first conclusion would apply.
