Third Gen Pedals
Hi everyone,
I am in the process of doing the popular LSx/T56 swap.
A long time ago, I picked up a set of third-gen manual pedals, or so I thought? Looking at the pictures, there are several noticeable differences between the third gen pedals I am used to seeing on TGO.
The set in my possession does not have the braces that bolt to the driver side of the firewall using the master cylinder bolts. Also, you will notice a rod that is connected to the clutch pedal, presumably used for the master cylinder.
Has anyone seen these pedals before? Are they an earlier style? Does anyone have these pedals?
Thanks again.

Yup, looks alot like the ones out my 83, that I finally threw in the trash in around 89 or 90 or so after I got tired of pushing them from post to pillar for some years after I got rid of that Stone Age crap the 1st time I saw a wrecked 84 in the boneyard and scabbed all the modern stuff out of it...
Those won't work with the T-56. Not a chance. However, there are people so stuck in the past, or who think they're going to "save money", or whatever, that will pay A MINT for those. Maybe not RIGHT THIS MINUTE, but put em on the classifieds and renew the ad to keep it current, and eventually someone will bite. Then you can get some $$$ to get something that WILL work for you.

Re: Third Gen Pedals
Yeah, I found while looking for a set of manual pedals that 82/83 F-body's came with the old skool manual Z-bar setup and the clutch pedal lever is different from the 84 and later models with the hydro clutch.
