Another dent cable issue
I'm trying to get my dent cable and throttle cable to work right. I have a th350 and holley 650 dp with a throttle cable bracket similar to csr's (it is a big end bracket) and I'm going to start the motor for the first time. Now i was told to set the dent cable so it is tight when at wot but my problem is when I connect the cable to the carb it is set back all the way at the end of the slot on the dent cable. I tried adjusting the location of the kickdown bracket on the throttle cable bracket but if i go so far then my actual throttle cable ends up being short this is because the kickdown bracket screws in to the throttle bracket from the bottom. What I'm hoping its not is that I got a dent cable that was too long because the one i took out of the vehicle previously was torn up and barley made it past the firewall. Please any info would be appreciated. Thanks
