Torque Converter for 87 GTA 350 TPI?
Hey guys, been awhile since i been on the boards and in the modding field. But anyways, for my next venture i been looking at giving my car a nice boost.
Torque Converter
I have been doing reading and searching the boards, and im thinking i probably get something in the 2k-3k range, but not exactly sure. My car has the the mods in my sig.
When i make this move, ill pair it up with some nice drag radials too. And maybe a transmission cooler to play it safe?
Anyways anyone got similar setup with a converter can chime in, or any other expert on this, thanks. I just want to make sure i get the right rpm converter speed, thats my first goal, then i can figure what brand to get.

Fast 383 is his name i used this converter with a 150 shot on my car with the stock long block in it at a while ago with a hsr, shortie headers ory, catback 160 thermo, and suspension on the car it went 11.86@113.60. the kit was a nos 5151 kit by the way. Converter was very driveable hard to really tell it was there until you ripped on it the it showed the true stall speed. Good luckon your hunt for a converter trans cooler would be a good addition too although i never ran one with this convetere wouldnt hurt none if you did.

Oh that looks like a good deal. So 2800 speed is a good area to be at then for my car. I have no idea on the spline count, says 30, but you tried on yours, similar setup so assume would work great on mine too.
