Making trans lines
I'm attempeting to make trans lines, there is no motor or trans in the car. After experimenting I'm realizing that I'm probablly going to need to put the trans in before i make the lines. I dont have any other lines to reference for making my bends. Does anyone have any advice on any tricks or certain bends that don't need to be made? I've done brake lines but this is more involved. Also do i need to have a double flare on the trans lines? Thanks

Re: Making trans lines
if you have the money for that ,,, then ya, get the flex line
otherwise its gonna be hard to tell how long to make em etc without the trans in , mine run along next to the starter and under the motor just alittle under the pass motor mount . it might be easier (without the old line) to make the bends to clear everything, with the motor and trans in the car.

Re: Making trans lines
also the rubber hose may not be long enough but goto your auto parts store and just get the same hose size and then your all set
