M9 or dana 60?
I might be able to get my hands on a M9 coming out of a Extreme street 4th gen drag car. It is outfitted with with stock suspension brackets including torque arms. And panhard bar. The class he runs must use all stock mounting locations but can use aftermarket parts.
Would this M9 be worth spending the money on? I know i will need to re-gear it and get a locker but it is direct bolt in on my car. I should be able to pick it up reasonably cheap as well.
Any thoughts?

yes it will bolt in but the rear end is like 3" longer and brake setup would be different. I have an S60 and couldn't be happier.

This rear is actually shorter, he ran a negative offset drag rim... This will only be a housing but if the price is right I dont think I can pass it up. If it does come with axels I will have to sell them and get smaller ones because I doubt he is going to be running 31 or 33 spline axels with 1500 hp.
