Budget Rear End Swap
Does anyone out there know of an easy and CHEAP rear end swap for a 88 camaro. I have a 454 witha WC T5 behind it.

Cheap, good, or easy. Pick two.
Cheap and easy is to get a stock or 4th gen rear with posi and disc brakes, but that won't be much stronger then what you already have.
Cheap and good is to find a ford 9" or ford 8.8", and fabricate all the mounting points. A few people have done ford 8.8" swaps, do a search. I think customblackbird is one of them.
The easy and good rear end swap is an aftermarket bolt-in rear, such as an Moser 9" or 12 bolt, or a S60.
And no, there are no direct bolt-in rears from any other vehicles, except for '82-'02 Camaros and Firebirds.
