Re: c clip eliminator

Do you do any bracket racing or take the car off jumps?

If no then dont bother with them

Re: c clip eliminator

I don't know of any c clip eliminators that will fit your rear end with the 3 bolt flange. I also don't recommend c clip eliminators for street driven cars. They usually leak oil onto the brakes when driven on the street. C clip eliminators are designed for drag racing and were not designed for side loads from turning corners. The bearings are usually small. There are better options.

Re: c clip eliminator

I'm not even sure if a c-clip eliminator is even available for the tiny 7.5" diff. It's not a performance diff where manufacturers make a lot of performance parts for it.

C-clip eliminators are for axle retention. If the end of the axle breaks off which will allow the c-clip to fall out, the axle and wheel can leave the car. Simply having rear disk brakes is considered an axle retention device because the caliper over the rotor will hold the axle in the diff if the c-clip breaks. If you break and axle at the wheel end, no form of retention device will keep it with the car.

An axle retention device and aftermarket axles are mandatory if you run 10.99 and quicker in the 1/4 mile.

Re: c clip eliminator

I've never been able to find c-clip eliminators for the 7.5". The standard kits you find on summit that say they're for a 10 bolt won't fit your application. Just gotta live dangerously or buy a 12 bolt.

Re: c clip eliminator

The standard 10 and 12 bolt c clip eliminators will fit the later 7.5 rear ends with the 4 bolt brake flange, but not the 3 bolt flange.
