The transmission leak from hell

When the transmission mechanic installed my transmission, he neglected to hook up the TV cable. i did not realize this until I poured in 5 quarts of fluid. Needless to say it went all over the ground. I had to attempt to hook up the TV cable from under the car. I finally got it and poured in a bit of fluid, but it promptly strted leaking again. Is there a seal around where the TV cable enters the transmission? Why won' this thing stop leaking after its been tightened down? TIA.

Yes, there is a seal that goes in between, I forgot to put it back in once and that did make a large mess.
