Car: 84 camaro, 88 trans am, 98 camaro
Engine: Modded , stock, LSX modded
Transmission: 700r4, 700r4, t-56
Axle/Gears: 327, 308, 373
700r4 output shaft end play
so i was just about to intall my new cross member when i noticed the play on the output shaft so i took the tail shaft housing off to get a better look i took a small video showing the end play this seems like a lot i dont know to much about shaft play or whats causing this any help would be great.

The only play that you should be concerned with is the play in the bushing to driveshaft yoke. It should be very little. If it feels sloppy (more than an 1/16" - 1/8") replce the bushing with the later teflon and use the 3 lip Vamac rear seal. The driveshaft must be perfectly smooth where it rides against the bushing and seal. Dana
