5 Brands of convertors what one should I use

I am going to be replacing my stock convertor with a convertor with a higher stall. I have narrowed it down somewhat to five companies. The recomendation from most every company I had spoke with was a stall speed of 2300 - 2600. I wanted your opinions of the following convertors:

1) Pheonix Transmission - #PTGM18HS $328.00 2 yr/24K warrantyhttp://www.phoenixtrans.com/html/converters.html

2) Performance Automotive (PATC sell raptor trans) Super Street Raptor - $295.00 -6 month warranty
http://www.700raptor.com/#Torque%20Converters

3)Hughes Performance - Street Master 2200-2500 $359- 1 yr warranty

http://www.hughesperformance.com/hdss.php

4)Edge Convertors - Mild street Edge Convertor - $325 -1yr warranty
http://www.edgeracingconverters.com/...ex&cPath=12_17

5) Bowtie Overdrives - $269- 2400HP700 - unsure on warranty-http://www.bowtieoverdrives.com/cata...php?ITEMID=262

Car is going to be weekend Cruiser/ Car Shows it will see little to no track time. Ignore signature Engine will be a carbed 355 (385hp@ 5300 440TQ@ 3700)

I hear many good things about Edge and Vigilante TC's from ProBuilt Automatics

I plan to use a Vigilante from PBA/Dana in the future. If I don't go T56 that is.

Running one from Monster Trans. It was cheap and works great.

Re: 5 Brands of convertors what one should I use

The more I am speaking to Pheonix Trans the more impressed I am. they carry a 2yr /24K mile warranty on convertors as well as transmissions. the warranty does not start at the time of sale but rather at the time of install. Email responses to questions are super fast usually less than 1 hour. The convertor is rated at $450hp /500TQ. I am still looking at he Edge TC as well but am waiting to hear back from them. A couple of questions.

1) Dual bearing vs needle bearing What is the difference/ what is better?

2) Should I be looking for a carbon fiber clutch or Kevlar?

3) Is there anything else that is am must have on the convertor?
