Most reputable tranny companies
I am going to need an automatic tranny that can handle up to 1000HP. While I'd like to have OD, i just do not see that happening. So, I am most likely going with the TH-350 or TH-400 ; probably TH-400. What are some of the more reputable tranny companies that can provide these trannies, able to handle that much HP, without requiring me to sell my kidney. Assume that sufficient mods with be done to the car - 1985 IROC - to insure that i can get traction.
EDIT - It must be an auto, because this is going to be connected to a turbo motor. I'll need to leave the line with boost, so i'll need load on the engine, and a manual with a stutterbox will probably be too expensive.

It's not a track-only car; mostly track, yes, but I will take it out on the street every now and then. I don't intend to hit 1000 horsepower, I just put that figure there so that I don't underaim
