How do I know if my converter has ballooned?

I just got that SLP converter and the paint has some cracks in it. Wondering if it has ballooned?

the only time they will balloon is if your running ALOT of power (500 plus) or over a 200 shot of spray, if it baloons, it pushes the crank forward and usally will thrash the engine, i dont think it balooned on you, but mabey just a pinch if theres cracks
