Hey fellas, maybe somebody can help me out here. I decided to be really smart and buy a shifter off of eBay without looking closely at the picture of the shifter. Instead of buying a B&M Megashifter, I bought a B&M Starshifter. It has the reverse lockout and everything, so it is different than the Megashifter. Does anybody know if this beast will fit in my 92 Firebird or will I have to find a Megashifter intstead? Thanks!

The starshifter won't work with a fourspeed automatic, unless you hook it up without a manual first gear position.

 

Damn, that sucks. I guess I really F'ed up on that one. You think I can rig up the Starshifter in my 75 Firebird with a TH350 tranny?
