TV/Kickdown Cable and Trans Fluid
So all i did today was adjust the kickdown cable and top off the tranny fluid. Now when i put it from park to drive if my foots not firmly on the brake it will spin the tire a little becasue i goes into gear so hard. What did i do wrong. the adjustment i did on the kickdown cable is to simply push in the "D" button and pull the housing as far back toword the trans as it would go. Is that wrong?

Sounds like the cable is too tight. Try to loosen it a small bit and I mean very small, maybe a 4th of a centimeter, shift again and see if the hard shift feeling goes away. If you loosen it to much then your trans will shift through all of the gears before it even gets to 25mph and that is actually said to be damaging to the trans and to STOP driving ASAP if it does that. Pull over and tighten it down. I've been working on mine for a few days now trying to get it just right. I found some instructions but they are way to technical I think, and this damn thing does not auto adjust for me. Do a drive test, check out the link. See if you can make it shift at these mph points, then your set. I wouldnt waste to much time trying to understand the site's instructions if it doesnt make sense. Just go for the drive test, make sure your transfluid is full.

Did you also press the gas pedal all the way to the floor after pulling the TV cable back? Pulling the cable back just sets it to the end - then mashing the gas pedal sets the adjustment.
