I have had mine in for several months now. I like it, but as of late (or i have just noticed) When i go around turns, the rear end pops. It kinda sounds like a locker.. whats the deal here? Is this normal or do i have another problem?!

If you add the GM limited slip differential additive it WILL stop popping, about $4 from the dealer. When you go around turns the diff has to let the outer wheel move faster than the inner so internally the clutches in the diff have to slip between themselves. Without the additive, the gear oil does not lube the clutches well enough so instead of slipping quietly they pop as they catch and release as the torque on the outer axle increases. In short siphon some gear oil out and them put in the additive.

the torsen doesn't have any clutches, it's coupled with worm gears. GM had a service writeup on the torsen making noises and the limited slip lube fixed the prob so they install w/ additive now, even though there's no clutches. Try the additive, and if it doesn't work, inspect the worm gears for damage.

Thanks... back to the debate of additive or not.. joy. I'll add some, can't exactly damage it.

Torsen recommended not using the addative. I'd guess that using it reduces the torque transfer to the wheel with traction.
