I have a '92 Camaro with a 305 TBI. it has the stock 2.73 cogs. I'd like to put from a 3.42 to 3.73 gears and a posi. How much? How hard to do on my own? And any good places to buy?

Don't do it yourself. I couldn't figure out the equations necessary to set mine up properly. Other than that any monkey with a wrench could do it. Its a good time to do your rear suspension while you have it all apart.

To get a Posi, scope the junkyards. If you want to travel into Morrisville which is next to Trenton, I could try to find you a posi rear. Expect to pay 100+ for a good one.

Gears ,get a set of 3.73s from richmond with the install kit. That's like 400 for the set up. My friend has been racing thirdgens for 10 years and he said richmond or don't waste your time.
