Trans. Fluid Leak, plz help!

I have a problem with the transmission fluid, i think. There is a liquid leaking right by my accelerator and i noticed it got on my pants and on my shoes the other day after driving for about 30 mins with other friends. How do i know what it is leaking?? and how can i open up the area to check to see if i can fix it myself??

Plz post soon, i need to know before i go to the shop on monday (right now it is Sunday 1 a.m.)

If you are saying that ATF is leaking INSIDE the car, then you have a seruios problm the likes of which I have never seen.

Sounds like the heater core...check your coolant level and the passenger side floorboard, I would bet its wet too.

Thats the only fluid that should come into the cab unless its a stick, sometimes the clutch master will leak in there.

Do you have an oil pressure gauge? If so, then that's what's leaking.

If it's really bad, http://www.1aauto.com has the best prices on ACC (GM authorized) carpet that you'll ever find. I bought mine from there; great place.
