Is this a 9.5" Vigilante TQ converter?
I got my 9.5" Vigilante TQ converter yesterday and opened the box. The TQ converter is purple (thought it was going to be orange) in color and measures 10" across? I thought it would be 9.5" across? Does the 9.5" refer something inside the 10" casing? Just wondering if this the right converter, I got nothing in the package that refers to what the product is and the box just says Precision Industries.

Yes, the color is correct, and the 9.5" is inside diameter. There should be numbers on the torque converter, call Precision with the numbers to get the specifications on the TC.

Yep, it's Barney purple.... It almost matches my Barney purple Pro Built tranny!! (Thanks Dana!!)
Just make sure you have the right bolts before you attempt installation. The 9.5" multi-disc Vigilante uses different bolts from the "regular" 9.5" Vigilante. I received the wrong bolts.

Willie, did u get the single or multiple disk Vigilante? I got the single lock-up 9.5" Vigilante b/c I thought that was the one for $700 that everyone talks about, the triple disk was $999. What would the advantage be w/ a triple over a single?
