How about these 2 questions. Do i need to "break in" the transmission, kinda like you do with a new motor or a new rear end gear? And can i run mobil 1 75-90 gear oil, or is there something else im supposta have?

it didnt come with oil? When i bought mine i got oil with it, im sure i paid for it, but it was included.

You have to break it in, there should be paperwork that came with the trans that tells you how. Its pretty much, take it easy for the first 500 miles. Shift with the clutch, dont rev it high, and shift through all the gears as much as possible. Similar to the break in period of the new clutch.

I assume you got the other swap parts as well?
What are you doing for the crossmember? shifter?

Yes i got the swap kit. I going to try to reuse the t5 crossmember. I know a guy that welds aluminum real good so when i get the transmission in im going to take it up to him and see if he can cut and weld my old hurst stick to fit. They didnt tell me anything about the oil when i bought it, who knows maybe it will be in the box when it comes this week.
I figure ill take some pics of the whole install process since i really didnt see to many up on here. Maybe make up a little how to.

Oh yes and i will have a t5 hurst shifter base left over when all is said and done if anybody is looking for one. I LOVED it!
