700r4 - Shifter doesn't line up to letters on console....
Reverse is between P and R , Neutral is R, Overdrive is N, Drive is OD, 2nd is D, and 1st is 2. I cant get it into park, it seems like it is in park when I put it in P but the car rolls If I hold the shifter up into P it still rolls and I hear a clicking like it is trying to engage park. I cant get it to go down into 1st on the console eather.

From what I remember, there's a way to adjust the shift indicator to the stick. I think the indicator's held on (upside down) with two screws. Loosen the screws, then you can slide the indicator up/down; it engages a set of ridges to keep it from sliding easily.
Did you lose any bolts that hold the shift linkage to the trans pan (driver's side)?
