Torque Converter Recommendation

I am ordering a new torque converter for my 700r4 tranny real soon for my 355 TPI motor. I don't know what kind to get. Here are all of my mods:

-Rebuilt 5.7 TPI, bored .030" over, forged aluminum pistons, radius valve job on reconditioned stock heads
-Crane Compucams Camshaft: 214/220 duration at .050. (2000-5500 RPM range)
-Adjustible Fuel Pressure Regulator
-K&N's in a gutted air box
-Hooker Headers, 3" high-flow cat, Hooker 3" cat-back
-3.27 Posi Rear End

What kind of torque converter do you think would be best for my application (i.e. stall speed RPM, brand, etc.)? I want to keep the price pretty low, too. I was looking at the TCI Saturday Night Specials. Are these any good? ANY opinions/help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I just put in a TCI Break-Away and I'm very happy with it. If you want a good TC for a low price then I recommend TCI. Do NOT get a B&M. You can go to the TCI website and tell them your combination and they recommend the best converter for you. That's what I did and I ordered what they recommended.

Try this web site. www.hptransparts.com. A few people have ordered parts from them and they are at wholesale prices.

Thats a very nice cam
I would say 1000 stall 1500max with a 3.27 Posi Rear End. TCI like flash said are good ones. Just nothing over 1500 stall for a street car. Ps slap a 30$ trans cooler on there. GL

1500 stall is what comes from the factory. 2000-2500 should be good.
