i currently have a 86 iroc with a 90 350. exaust, intake, shift kit, msd ignition, and a 52mm throttle body. it has 2.73 gears and im considering putting in 3.73 gears. does anyone know how much of a difference it will make in my 0-60 and 1/4 mile? thanks

Car: 88IROC, 91Z28 + parts cars
Engine: 355, 408
Transmission: T56
Axle/Gears: 3.42 LS1, 9" w/ 4.56 and spool
Re: 373 GEARS

Well 3.73 will give you a big advantage on acceleration. You will need good tires and a proper suspension setup to take advantage of that that. With out knowning what the car runs now exact wheel and tire/suspension setup it would be impossible to even make an educated guess
