What affect will a 2200-2400 stall converter have?
On a stock 350 with stock cam, just 1 3/4 headers and exhaust work. I am getting the tranny rebuilt and using TCI shift kit and Vette servos. I usually drive in the 1800-2400 range(cruise wise) Would this be ok or would my converter be slipping all the time. Should I go with a lower stall.
Thanks, Gary

you should be fine. that isn't a lot of stall and in a thirdgen the stall is usually lower than the makers say.

If it's on a 700R4 and it's a lockup converter, then you'll be locked up in cruise anyway.

Thanks guys I just did not want to screw something up I drive this car everyday.Yes it is a 700R4(sorry). I know nothing about the converters so i appreciate the answers. What brand names do you guys think are good and decently priced? I am thinking of the Darrel Young or B&M
Thanks again, Gary
