TKO-600 RAM clutch Please help !!!
Hi all,
After 3 years of rebuild I have put almost all together into the car but still have a problem with clutch RAM-98730 POWERGRIP., which doesn’t want to disengage to the end on my setup. When I put stock Chinese T5 clutch replacement everything works fine. I have enough to change clutches (did it few times already ) alone
Does anybody had the same problem with similar setup ? Do you know what could be wrong.
Please see what I have below: BTW everything is brand new including Master (GM) and slave cylinder (Reybestos)
Engine 383, transmission: TK0-600, belhousing and fork: QuickTime, clutch and pilot bearing : RAM-98730 POWERGRIP,
I drove 50 KM on factory clutch without issue and once I put RAM on it I hear friction of the clutch on gear if I try to move driveshaft. Off course I can’t put any gear on working engine.
My observation:
- slave cylinder move is to short to disengage REM clutch ? It's arounf 16 mm
- Ram clutch is to havy for stock T5 (brend new) hydraulic ?
- Fork has a shorter arm that stock one and it gives less force on pilot bearing
Please let me know if somebody on similar setup had the same issue. I want to drive the car !!! this summer yet. Wait for that 3 years

the issue may be the srping on the clutch hub contacting the flywheel bolts.

Well checked that and it seems it's clutch friction on flywheel and pressure plate. Just get out transmission again in order to setup ball stud and it seems to be better, but at full disentage I'm able to move driveshaft with my hand, but stil hear friction noise. Tomorrow I will run engine just to see if it's still a problem (today it's to late..)
Thanks
Thanks
