Stronger rebuild possible on T5?

How strong can I make my T5 in a rebuild? are far better than stock parts available? from where?

Jester there are no real upgrades, sorry to say. There's racing grears for it, however their just as stong as stock and cost 2 grand.

Then there is the counter gear sync upgrade, which contrary to popular belief is for the WC model too.

You can try to upgrade the input shaft bearing to T5Z spec, however I do not know if Ford spec T5 parts will work on the GM spec T5.

Other then that your best bet is to get an aftermarket shifter with adjustable stops and run either synthetic 5-30 motor oil or synthetic ATF.

Jester, no problem. If you take on the task of upgrading to T5Z input shaft bearing, I'd be very interested in the out come. If the GM v8 and Ford v8 input shafts are the same diameter I see no reason why you couldn't upgrade to it. However I do not know if this is the case. In either case good luck.
