T-5 making a clunking noise????/
Ok , basically I've had this annoying **** noise in my car for the past 2 months. First I thought it was a loose U-joint. check it, and its not. Then I thought it might be my calipers. No, not that either. The noise is the loudest in neutral when I'm coasting, or in gear at low RPMs. It sounds like a horse galloping.
Tonight I put the car in neutral when driving (moved it left and right to make sure i was in neutral), then released clutch. I noticed when I was jiggling stickshift it started making the noise! Could it be the tranny or clutch? Pilot bearing ? Throwout bearing?
Or is there a horse under my car?
