Clutch Cross Shaft - what is it?

The factory service manual for my ’91 Camaro states that the clutch cross shaft should be lubricated every 30K miles.

What is the clutch cross shaft? I can’t find this term used anywhere else in the manual.

Tks.

For a '91 camaro you don't have a clutch cross shaft. Only 82 and 83 models are equipped with this for a manual transmission. The rest are hydraulic and require no service, although lubricating where the slave cylinder pushrod contacts the clutchfork isn't a bad idea.
