85 468 BBC/T350 trans - how do i mount Tq arm ?

Alright guys here is what we got
1985 Firebird with a 468 BBC behind that is a turbo 350
We used BMR's transmission mount and Spohn Driveshaft
But how in the heck can i mount the tq arm ?? I'm sure we aren't the first to do this .. how has everyone else done this ?

You buy an aftermarket torque arm that attaches to the aftermarket transmission crossmember.

b&m sells a mount in summit to mount factory TQ arm to TH350 - however if you are making any power I would not suggest the stock set-up.
Spohn makes a nice TQ arm that is chassis mounted, but it has limitations when using exhaust. Jegster unit is cheaper, hooks very well when set-up right and leaves room for exhaust.

Exhaust on the car is Hooker Super Comp Headers which run down the side of the car with simple header mufflers. So i doubt it would interfere with any tq arm set up -- after doing some searching on the internet there is a Turbo 350 trans mount that also has a tq arm mount that i would have to use there tq arm with..... but that means the turbo 350 transmission mount i just bought is useless ? Surely there is a seperate tq arm mount set-up for third gen cars ?

Yes,
Just as Steven and myself just said - Jegster mounts to chassis tunnel all parts included, spohn mount to new transmission x-member - all parts included, I think PA racing and UMI make them as well, but they stole their designs from others.
If you plan to make any power do not use the trans mount set-up

If you've already bought a trans crossmember I'd go the jegster route. But before you put it in, I would weld some gussets in it to strengthen it. They've broke/bent under hard launches.

Does anyone have the jegster mounted to their vehicle ? I'd love to see one mounted and listen to someone who either likes or dislikes it

I have it, used it in both Auto and Manual appliction.
I think it works great, hit tires very hard - sometimes to hard depending on how hard you leave. In my case it would actually fully extend rear shocks as it lift rear of car when you leave, I lowered my car to solve that problem.
In the 6 speed car now, it works great so far. I know people who use them with trans brakes as well and like theirs.

Does anyone have a picture of it installed? I'm in need of a spohn alternative also.
Thanks

P.S
I will try searching also.

xpndbl3's page. I just put one in too. With how much this tq arm pushes up the rear of the car, I wonder if I'll be able to get away without running lcarbs.
