Cyberdyne calibration unit?

Cyberdyne makes this calibration unit for electronic speedos-

Has anyone tried this on a later model T5 with the electronic speedo? I have seen it used on T56 conversions with the newer style setup with the reluctor wheel, but can't find if it's been done with the stock setup. Since the T5 speedo gears are discontinued and so hard to find, I'm hoping that this will work. It's pretty cheap, not much more than you would probably pay for the gears if you could find them, and a lot less of a PITA than changing the drive gear with the trans in the car. I can't seem to find a website for Cyberdyne or any in depth info on this thing. Thanks in advance.
