Shift kit install 4L60E(HELP)

Engine: 346 TC78 Turbo
Transmission: 4L80E
Axle/Gears: 3.25 9"Nodular, Strange axles
Shift kit install 4L60E(HELP)
Who's all installed a shiftkit in the 4L60e? Puttin in a shift kit in the trans of myls1 and i must say never have done it before. Is it hard? What to watch out for? Anything else I shuld do to it while its out? Thanks guys!

what did you get for a shift kit. most of them require dropping the pan , valve body and accumulator and replacing springs. some change the boost valve in the pump. some also require drilling larger feed holes in the seperator plate. if you take your time and do one step at a time it's not all that bad. if it's a 4l60e there are 7 checkballs that need to back into the valve body. be careful they are easy to loose. also if the kit does not provide valve body papers be careful not to rip them because you will need to use them over. those papers should be available through gm.
