700R4 to Turbo 350?
Ok i recently just blew the 700R4 out of my 84 z-28 and got a turbo 350 out of a corvette, and for the past few days busted my ***** to get that tranny up in there with out a floor jack so you could only imagine wat that was like but regardless, the turbo 350 is mounted to the engine and the torque converter is bolted up which you would think everything would line up right but when i went to bolt the tranny mount to the that crossmember it came up about and 1 1/4 short of what it should be well or wat it was but anyway i just wanted to know if something i might have done could have caused this or if somebody that put a turbo350 in a 3rd gen went threw the same complications as me.

I believe the transmission mount for the TH350 is shorter than the 700R4 so you'll have to modify your cross member or buy a new one from Spohn or someone else.

If it is a TH350 with the 9" tail shaft you just need the kit from B&M or Hurst for hooking the torque arm to the TH350.

Re: 700R4 to Turbo 350?
heres what i did i took my tail house from my 700r4 an stuck it on the turbo 350 to take car of the torque arm prob, an i just modified my crossmember ,lots of heat an pounding , but it all workt out fine besides the drive shaft wich was about 2 an a 1/8 of a inch short , although i did get the b&m changeover kit , but it was a waste of money so i took it back anyways didnt even need it
