Re: TV cable remounting?

havent decided yet, prob an air gap intake but havent decided on carbs. i thought there was just a bracket and cable kit for carbs and it was "one size fits all".

Re: TV cable remounting?

Nope. If you were going Q-Jet and Stock Manifold, then get a stock bracket. Holley Carb you will need both a adapter for the throttle lever made by them and the mounting bracket made by them. There is also a set made for Edelbrock/AFB carbs. If you get a BG/Demon, the Holley stuff will work with some mods. I got a BG/Demon and am using a Holley throttle adapter slightly modified, and a billet bracket I got from Jegs (their brand) made to hold the throttle cable and the additional part to hold the TV cable. The starting point and the rotation degree of the TV cable play an important role in getting the TV system to work as it should
