No 4th gear after 4th gear servo install!!
Ok.....I have a 1-2 servo from a previous install and worked great for about 30k and I just bought the Sonnax 4th billet servo for my 700r4. Took everything out, put the new washer on the pin from the kit followed by the c-clip. Installed it back in the tranny and tested fitted the 4th gear servo without the o-ring. Fitted fine and had about 1/8" after the retaining clip. So, put the o-ring on and got the clip on it. Pressed it down and had an 1/8" of play and could depress it by hand. Went for a test drive and no 4th gear and tried it again after making sure everything was fine and nothing. Any suggestions....I need to get this thing up and moving....got to return to college on Sunday. I have an extra o-ring from the original cover and inspected the one from the kit but didn't see a tear.
When I took it all out, I had fuilded behind the 4th servo making it flat with the outside of the housing for some extra info.

Re: No 4th gear after 4th gear servo install!!
Well....after some looking and some advice from FLT.....I fixed the problem and 4th gear is very nice. When you do a Sonnax 4th gear servo, make sure you put bronze washer after the OEm washer and OEM c-clip.
