torque bar?

torque bar?
the bar that runs from the rear of the tranny to the front of the rear end along the drive shaft. how do i install it? i have the drive shaft off and the car on a set of ramps.

I put the drive shaft in then put a jack under the diff and jack the rearend up.. this will aline the diff with the trans.. then just bolt and go.. If I left something out please add.

actually to be more precise how do i mount it to the tranny?

Not sure about any aftermarket torque arms, but the stock ones just slide into a rubber gromet that bolt to the trans. I've always just slide it into the grommet then bolted it up to the rear from there.

there should be some sort of clamshell-type mount with integrated rubber bushings, that hinges on the bottom and can be bolted shut on the top.. there will be 3 bolts on it.. lets see if i can get some kind of picture.. theres what it should sort of look like.. 2 bolts on the bottom through the bottom of the trans tailshaft, and one up top to hold the mount closed..
